Japanese diplomats will have to thin their wine cellars. The Japanese foreign ministry has started an audit to measure the value of the wine cellars of the Japanese embassies abroad. Protests against nuclear dump in Champagne

The association of champagne growers CIVC has gone to court in an effort to close the nuclear dump in Soulaines, 9km away from the champagne vineyards in the Côte de Bars. The CIVC requests that the Administrative Court in Châlons-en-Champagne cancels the permission to store low-level nuclear waste in Soulaines.
