Paleontologen van de universiteit van Firenze hebben een vijf miljoen jaar oud walvisskelet opgegraven in de Brunello de Montalcino wijngaard van het Toscaanse wijndomein Castello Banfi, zo meldt de BBC. Het tien meter lange skelet bleef goed bewaard. Vijf miljoen jaar geleden lag Toscane onder water. Op de website van de BBC is een foto te zien van de opgraving.
