Ripe black berries and cherries and exotic spices on the enjoyable nose. Ripe black berry fruit, a distinct mineral component, sweet spices, refreshing acidity and hints of chocolate, kirsch and leather on the fresh, fruit-laden palate. This is more fruit forward than the 2005 but just as tasty. Probably not one to keep as long as the 2005 though. (91 points)
