Red and black berry fruit and sweet spices on the balsamic nose. Kirsch, red fruit, spicy wood and refreshing acidity on the still primary palate. Evolved positively in the glass, with more red and dark fruit coming through and more depth overall. This is still very young and needs quite a few years of bottle age. Might merit a higher score. If tasted blind, this could easily be confused with a good cru from Barbaresco. (91 pts.)
