Château de Francs Les Cerisiers 2005

2005 Château de Francs Les Cerisiers – France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Côtes de Francs (10/18/2007)
Spices, vanilla, black fruit, and some alcohol on the meaty nose. The alcohol and wood still dominate the palate, but this has a lot of material: nice fruit, coffee, spices. Maybe somewhat more complex and slightly ‘wilder’ than the Grands Maréchaux. Good qpr. I recently tasted a 2000 Cérisiers and that was the best showing of that wine ever, so this has clearly some ageing potential. (91 pts.)

Goede prijskwaliteitverhouding. Ca. 12 euro bij Colruyt Klassewijnen.
