2010 Claude Riffault Sancerre Les Chasseignes – France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre (7/14/2012) Tangy white fruit (apple, pear, peach) intermingle with wet stones on the enjoyable nose. White fruit, citrus-like acidity and minerals on the sappy, concentrated, balanced, slightly bitter and long palate. Excellent stuff, but let it breath at least an hour before you taste it.
