2009 Paul Jacqueson Rully Les Margotés – France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully (2/20/2012) Toast, ripe fruit and sweet minerals on the aromatic, very Burgundy-nose. On the palate this is fairly ripe, but the fruit is balanced by spicy citrus-like acidity and stony minerals. Classy juice; you pay a lot more for this quality level in more well-known communities. Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Rully Cailloux 2006 – France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully (12/12/2008) Just superb for a Rully. Understated nose and what refinement on the palate. Subtle oak, pure fruit, excellent balance and great finish. I tasted this from barrel and I was impressed. Now even more. (94 ptn.)
