2004 Javier Sanz Villa Narcisa La Seca Verdejo Rueda – Spain, Rueda (10/23/2005)
On the nose ripe and expressive green and yellow fruit (granny smith apples, melon, peach). Somewhat more complex than the equally excellent Palacio de Bornos. Some residual CO2 on the palate. Lots of fruit, nice refershing acidity, slightly bitter finish which seems to be a Verdejo trait. Excellent.
In de neus rijp en expressief groen en geel fruit (granny smith, meloen, perzik). Ietwat complexer dan de ook zeer goede Palacio de Bornos. Lichte tinteling in de mond. Massa’s fruit, mooi verfrissende zuren en een lichtjes bittere afdronk, wat kenmerkend is voor Verdejo. Excellent. Verkrijgbaar bij La Buena Vida voor ca. 8 euro.(91 pts.)
