Schlossgut Diel Dorsheimer Burgberg Riesling Großes Gewächs 2005

2005 Schlossgut Diel Dorsheimer Burgberg Riesling Großes Gewächs – Germany, Nahe (10/21/2006)
The nose is more closed then the Goldloch; the colour is lighter. Aroma’s of exotic yellow fruit such as lychee intermingle with stoney minerals; also some green apple fruit. More acidity on the palate makes this fresher then the Goldloch; a lot of material, sweet, exotic fruit, lemon peel, volcanic minerals, a lot of glycerol. Less heavy then the Goldloch, but probably also a bit less complexity here. Nevertheless a very good wine that’s is already accessible. (93 pts.)
