Celler del Roure Valencia Maduresa 2003

2003 Celler del Roure Valencia Maduresa – Spain, Valencia (2/1/2006)
A hint of barnyard in the very wild and expressive nose: meat, smoke, tar, black fruit and some alcohol. The palate is full and brooding, with lots of sweet but not cloying black fruit, supported by somewhat dusty tannins, kirsch, chocolate, meat, a nice acidity and exotic herbs. The 14% alcohol is well integrated. Just plain delicious, in an exotic “never tasted before” style. Exciting. Probably not one to age, but who knows? A blend of 45% tempranillo, 25% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot and 15% mando. (93 pts.)

Gewoon lekker, zelfs opwindend.
