On the palate this is fairly ripe, but the fruit is balanced by spicy citrus-like acidity and stony minerals. Classy juice; you pay a lot more for this quality level in more well-known communities. 2006 Celler del Roure Valencia Maduresa – Spain, Valencia (8/15/2011) Ripe black berries and cherries and exotic spices on the enjoyable nose. Ripe black berry fruit, a distinct mineral component, sweet spices, refreshing acidity and hints of chocolate, kirsch and leather on the fresh, fruit-laden palate.
