2011 puklavec & friends Pinot Grigio – Slovenia, Podravje (5/10/2012)
Pink hue to the colour. Aromatic nose of mainly ripe apple fruit with a flowery and spicy edge. Fairly dry on the quite spicy palate; good fruit core and balancing citruslike acidity. Fairly long, spicy aftertaste. Has plenty of character, I like it. (Disclaimer: courtesy bottle of producer.) (88 points)
