2006 Raul Pérez Bierzo Ultreia St. Jacques – Spain, Castilla y León, Bierzo (4/15/2011)
Sweet black fruit, refreshing acidity, minerals, sweet tannins, well integrated alcohol, reminds me of a Pic St Loup, quite classy, balanced, not over the top, a distinct mineral touch that’s quite interesting. I’m not sure this was indeed the 2006, because the neck label of the bottle had dissapeared and the cork did not print a vintage. Good qpr. (91 points)
