2006 Ca’ Viola Langhe Bric du Luv – Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC (9/23/2010) Kirsch, violets, exotic spices and earth on the nose. Kirsch, ripe red and black fruit, violets, exotic spices, cinchona bark and serious acidity on the broad, still primary palate. Delicious already, but will improve a lot with additional bottle age. Japanese diplomats will have to thin their wine cellars. The Japanese foreign ministry has started an audit to measure the value of the wine cellars of the Japanese embassies abroad.
