American farmer protests on YouTube against wine company

The American rancher Troy Hadrick pours an bottle of Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine on the frozen ground of his ranch in South Dakota. Hadrick is angry because Yellow Tail has donated $100,000 to the American Humane Society, which fights for animal rights. “This is an organization that has a vegan agenda … and wants to put me out of work,” said Hadrick in a local newspaper. The Australian wine brand Yellow Tail is distributed in the U.S. by W.J. Deutsch and Sons. American cattle farmers have launched an internet campaign to boycott Yellow Tail. The Facebook page Yellow Fail has 3,100 followers, almost 1,000 more than the official Yellow Tail fanpage. The video Hadrick has been watched more than 8,000 times. Deutsch has now responded to the campaign. “We will still honor the $100,000 gift, but it should only be used by the Animal Rescue Team of the Humane Society.” This team saves animals in danger.
