Fresh strawberries and cherries intermingled with rose petals and a hint of kirsch on the enjoyable nose. Still rather primary on the palate, even on the second day when the wine had barely moved, but everything is in place and very balanced: refreshing cherry-like acidity, red fruits, and somewhat biting tannins. Will be better in a few years, but can be enjoyed now with extended aeration. Good qpr. Might merit a higher score. (90 pts.)
