Slate, wet stones, ripe yellow fruit on the honeyed, enjoyable nose. On the penetrating and intense palate searing citruslike acidity, masses of ripe fruit, minerals and a distinct smokey element. Lingering after-taste. Very primary, but already enjoyable. Might merit a higher score in time. (94 pts.)
