Bollinger Celebrates New Bond Movie With Designer Champagne

On the occasion of the release of the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace, Champagne Bollinger has commissioned the French designer Eric Berthès to design the Bollinger & 007 Collectors Bullet. The Bullet contains a magnum of Bollinger Grande Année 1999 dressed in black and silver. Once the magnum is released from its cradle, the inside of the bullet converts into a set of compartments in which a modern gentlemen can store his personal accessories. Only 2007 copies of this collector’s item, each individually numbered, will be produced. This item will be sold worldwide with a recommended retail price of 4.000 €. Only five Bullets will be sold in the Belgian market.
Bollinger and the Bond movie franchise share a long history of product placement. The champagne brand was first mentioned in the 1973 Bond movie Live and Let Die with Roger Moore. In the last movie, Casino Royale (2006), Bollinger was mentioned or shown on at least four occasions.
