French Forgers Sell Fake Châteauneuf On eBay

Why take half-full or half-empty...

A judge in the French town of Tarascon (Bouches du Rhône) condemned a husband and wife team of wine forgers to eight months in prison and a fine of 13,101 euro. In 2005 the French couple sold over 200 bottles of “top” Châteauneuf-du-Pape on eBay. The bottles contained mostly cheap wine; the wine labels were copies.
