2004 Château Malescot St. Exupery – France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux (3/2/2007)
Meat, animal blood, and a dose of alcohol on the nose. On the palate some leather, a hint of minerals, black coffee, a hint of kirsch and elegant traces of black and red fruits. Not a blockbuster, but a complete, balanced classical Bordeaux that is already accessible now. (91 pts.)
