Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1989

1989 Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru – France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (11/21/2005)
We drank this with hare stew without decanting first. It was a gift from a friend with a cold cellar. On the nose undergrowth, liquorice, kirsch, sirup and some fruit. On the palate still noticeable but sweetish tannins and a nice acidity. Lots of sweetish red fruit and a hint of liquorice. Can age some more, but is accesible. Not a great but a very enjoyable bottle of older Bourgogne. (93 pts.)
