N.V. Gianluca Viberti Langhe Dionisio – Italy, Piedmont, Langhe (11/17/2006)
Gianluca is the son of Giovanni. He makes internationally styled, easy drinking wines for a low price. His labels show him sitting in a wine barrel and seem to ask not to take him too seriously. This is a good, very fruity blend of 50/50 Barbera and Dolcetto, with the Barbera-fruit dominating; good refreshing acidity. This was made from 2005 fruit but I didn’t find a vintage year on the label. (86 pts.)
Een goede, op het fruit gebouwde assemblage van 50/50 Barbera en Dolcetto, met het Barbera-fruit dat domineert; goede, verfrissende zuren. Gemaakt van fruit uit 2005, maar op het etiket vond ik geen jaartal.
