Project by Laurence Féraud from Pegau fame. The grapes are from the south of France, the appellation is Vin de Pays d’Oc. Low price (about 5,5 euro), but good quality at the price level. Mainly built on the Grenache-fruit, but the Syrah gives a nice oomph to the blend. Fruity and spicy, with a slight metallic undertone. For uncritical immediate consumption. (87 pts.)
Project van Laurence Féraud, bekend van Pegau in Chateauneuf-du-Pâpe. De druiven komen uit het zuiden van Frankrijk, de appellatie is “Vin de Pays d’Oc”. De prijs is laag (5,5 euro), maar het kwaliteitsniveau is goed in verhouding tot de prijs. Vooral gebouwd op het Grenache-fruit, maar de Syrah-component geeft de assemblage wat meer karakter. Fruitig en kruidig, met een kleine metalige ondertoon. Voor onkritische consumptie op korte termijn. Verkrijgbaar bij Vinesse.
